Quick answer: As at 31 October 2026, Goodcall charges $79, $129 or $299 a month for 100, 500 or 2,000 unique callers; Rosie charges $49, $149 or $299 for 250, 1,000 or 2,000 minutes. At 75 three-minute calls Rosie is cheaper ($49 vs $79); at 300 and 600 calls Goodcall is ($129 vs $149; $129 to $155 vs $299). Rosie includes web chat and Instagram replies on every plan.
This page compares two US AI phone receptionists that people search for together: Goodcall at goodcall.com, whose agent is built by talking to an assistant called Gabi, and Rosie at heyrosie.com, an AI answering service for US small businesses. Goodcall’s own homepage demo happens to be a plumber’s agent named “Rosie”; that is an example name, not the Rosie product. Every Goodcall fact below comes from goodcall.com and help.goodcall.com, and every Rosie fact from heyrosie.com and its help centre at heyrosie.com/support, all read on 31 October 2026, in US dollars. We walked both vendors’ full sitemaps that day: 1,739 Goodcall pages and 53 Goodcall help-centre pages, 133 Rosie pages and 52 Rosie help-centre pages. The named tools that decide the choice are Google Calendar, Calendly, Acuity, Appointlet, HighLevel, Zapier, Facebook Messenger and Instagram.
Where Zian fits
Zian AI is our pick when the receptionist has to feed a sales pipeline as well as answer the phone: it answers inbound calls 24/7 as an AI receptionist that qualifies callers, books appointments, transfers calls and takes messages, then runs outbound follow-up by voice call, SMS, email and WhatsApp. LeadsNow.ai is the done-for-you option, a managed service that runs on Zian and is billed pay-per-result.
Zian also holds conversations in Instagram DMs and Facebook Messenger, handles answering machines and voicemail on calls, works in 30+ languages with voice cloning supported, and connects to HubSpot, Salesforce, HighLevel and Zapier. SmartReach AI™ orchestrates the message, channel and timing of follow-up, and PrecisionPitch AI™ continuously split-tests scripts against real outcomes. Zian has been running outbound acquisition since 2017 and reports 50,769+ qualified sales appointments set. LeadsNow.ai answers leads in under 60 seconds, 24/7.
The honest one-line gap: Zian is in a partnership-application beta and publishes no price, so it has no bill in the worked tables below. Each of its three listed plans, including Intel + Widgets (Free Forever), starts with a partnership application.
Goodcall vs Rosie: the options side by side
How this table was built. Inclusion rule: Goodcall and Rosie are here because they are the two products in the search; a fact is printed only if that vendor’s own page states it, read on 31 October 2026. Disclosure: zian.ai publishes this page and places Zian AI first in a comparison it appears in. Rows 1 and 2 are our platform and done-for-you picks. Rows 3 and 4 are in alphabetical order, not ranked against each other, because which one is better depends on your call pattern, as the cost tables below show. No vendor paid to be included.
| # | Option | What it is | How it bills | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Zian AI (our pick) | AI receptionist answering inbound calls 24/7, plus outbound follow-up by voice, SMS, email and WhatsApp, and Instagram and Messenger conversations | No published price: partnership-application beta | A team that wants the answered call followed up until it books |
| 2 | LeadsNow.ai (done-for-you pick) | Managed AI appointment setting that runs on Zian | Pay-per-result | A business that wants the whole thing run for it |
| 3 | Goodcall | AI phone agent, built and changed by talking to Gabi | Per unique caller a month; extra callers at the plan’s own rate | Repeat callers, long calls, and custom API or MCP connections |
| 4 | Rosie | AI answering service with web chat and Messenger and Instagram replies included | Per minute, rounded up per call; automatic move to the next plan instead of overage | Low call volume; Calendly, Acuity or Appointlet bookings; one inbox across phone, chat and social |
How Goodcall and Rosie charge: callers vs minutes
The two products count different things, and that difference decides most bills. Goodcall counts people. Its pricing page says “You pay one price for each customer your AI phone agent serves”, and its FAQ defines a unique customer as “One phone number, once a month”: the same person calling five times in a month is one customer, and “Spam and wrong numbers don’t count.” Call length does not matter: “A thirty-second call and a nine-minute booking cost the same.” Rosie counts time. Its Terms of Service bill “Services Minutes” from when the call connects to when it disconnects, “in 60-second increments”, with calls “rounded up to the next 60-second mark”, so a 61-second call uses 2 minutes.
| Plan | Monthly price (USD) | Included a month | Beyond the allowance | Annual billing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Goodcall Starter | $79 | 100 unique customers (“About 150 calls/month”) | 79¢ per extra customer | None: “Every plan bills monthly” |
| Goodcall Growth | $129 | 500 unique customers (“About 750 calls/month”) | 26¢ per extra customer | None |
| Goodcall Scale | $299 | 2,000 unique customers (“About 3,000 calls/month”) | 15¢ per extra customer | None |
| Goodcall Enterprise | Contact sales | More than 2,000 customers a month | “Volume pricing, onboarding and an SLA” | Not printed |
| Rosie Professional | $49 | 250 minutes | Moved up to the next plan | $490 a year |
| Rosie Scale | $149 | 1,000 minutes | Moved up to the next plan | $1,490 a year |
| Rosie Growth | $299 | 2,000 minutes | Custom-volume plan if you “regularly exceed 2,000 minutes” | $2,990 a year |
| Rosie Custom | “$999+/mo” (llms.txt) | Set by agreement | Set by agreement | Not printed |
The overage rules are where the two part company. Goodcall’s pricing FAQ: “Extra customers bill at your plan’s own rate: 79¢ on Starter, 26¢ on Growth, 15¢ on Scale. There’s no penalty rate, and we tell you when a bigger plan would be cheaper than staying where you are.” Rosie has no per-minute overage. Its pricing FAQ says you get “multiple heads-up emails” near the limit, and if you exceed it Rosie will “automatically move you up to the next plan”, “at that plan’s standard price, never more”, adding: “Your plan stays at the upgraded tier until you adjust it back.” Rosie’s terms go one step further, saying changes that add fees apply to the current billing period “and at least the subsequent two consecutive billing periods”; we break that clause down in our Rosie AI receptionist cost breakdown.
Two smaller limbs belong next to the prices. Goodcall plans are per agent: its FAQ says you can create separate agents for different locations and “Choose a plan for the customers each agent serves.” Goodcall’s plans also cap “external tools” (anything you connect or build, such as an API, an MCP server or a code block) at 1 on Starter, 5 on Growth and 15 on Scale, and keep 30 days of call history on Starter, 90 on Growth and unlimited on Scale. Rosie’s pricing FAQ says recordings “are automatically deleted after 30 days”, with no plan named as an exception. Both vendors put tax on top: Rosie’s terms add “applicable sales and use taxes”, and Goodcall’s terms make you “responsible for all taxes associated with the Service”.
On annual billing, Goodcall’s pages disagree with each other. Its FAQ (sitemap date 29 October 2026) says: “Is there an annual plan? Not right now. Every plan bills monthly.” An older help article from 16 December 2025 mentions saving “an additional 15% by choosing the annual plan”, and its local-numbers page still says you have “payment options for both monthly and annual”. The same FAQ also says older prices such as $66 a month “were annual plans on our previous platform and aren’t offered now”. We used the FAQ; ask Goodcall before you plan around an annual price. Rosie’s annual prices are two months free on each plan.
What Goodcall and Rosie cost at 75, 300 and 600 calls a month
This worked calculation puts the same month of calls through both price lists. A short script did the arithmetic; every input is shown so you can swap in your own numbers. The volumes match our Rosie cost breakdown, so the Rosie bills agree with that page.
Inputs, all read on 31 October 2026: Goodcall’s three plans and extra-customer rates, and Rosie’s three plans and upgrade rule, as in the table above. Three call profiles:
- Base: every call is 3 billed minutes on Rosie (for example 2 minutes 20 seconds of talk, rounded up), and Goodcall callers ring 1.5 times a month each, the ratio Goodcall’s own plan cards use (100 customers, “About 150 calls/month”).
- All new callers: every call to Goodcall is a different person (1.0 calls per customer). Rosie’s bill is unchanged.
- Long calls: every call is 5 billed minutes on Rosie. Goodcall’s bill is unchanged, because it does not meter time.
Each cell is the lowest bill available: the cheaper of staying on a plan and paying for extras or starting on the bigger plan, for Goodcall; the plan that covers the minutes, for Rosie. Monthly billing, every call billable, no add-ons, no tax.
| Profile | 75 calls a month | 300 calls a month | 600 calls a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Goodcall, base (1.5 calls per customer) | 50 customers: $79.00 (Starter) | 200 customers: $129.00 (Growth; Starter would be $79 + 100 × $0.79 = $158.00) | 400 customers: $129.00 (Growth; Starter would be $79 + 300 × $0.79 = $316.00) |
| Goodcall, all new callers | 75 customers: $79.00 (Starter) | 300 customers: $129.00 (Growth; Starter would be $79 + 200 × $0.79 = $237.00) | 600 customers: $129 + 100 × $0.26 = $155.00 (Growth; Scale would be $299.00) |
| Rosie, base (3 billed minutes) | 225 minutes: $49.00 (Professional) | 900 minutes: $149.00 (Scale) | 1,800 minutes: $299.00 (Growth) |
| Rosie, long calls (5 billed minutes) | 375 minutes: $149.00 (Scale) | 1,500 minutes: $299.00 (Growth) | 3,000 minutes: above Growth; custom-volume plan, which Rosie’s llms.txt prices from $999 a month |
| Cheaper in the base profile | Rosie, by $30.00 | Goodcall, by $20.00 | Goodcall, by $170.00 |
Three readings fall out of the table. First, Rosie wins at low volume: at 75 short calls a month its $49 plan beats Goodcall’s $79 floor, which Goodcall’s FAQ confirms has nothing below it (“There’s no pause, and no price below $79 a month”). Second, above about 83 three-minute calls, the point where Rosie’s 250 minutes run out, Goodcall is cheaper in every profile we ran up to 600 calls, because Rosie’s next step is $149, while Goodcall’s lowest bill stays at or under $129 up to 500 unique customers. Third, call length moves only Rosie’s bill: at 5 billed minutes, 75 calls already cost $149 on Rosie, and 600 calls pass Rosie’s top published plan.
The quotable version: for the same 600 three-minute calls a month, Goodcall’s bill is $129 to $155 and Rosie’s is $299, as at 31 October 2026; for 75 calls, Rosie’s is $49 and Goodcall’s $79.
Two cautions keep this honest. The Rosie cells in months where you cross a plan line are a first-month figure only; under the terms clause above, a busy month can cost more over the next two billing periods, and our Rosie breakdown works through that case. And the Goodcall cells assume Goodcall’s spam rule applies to your calls: its pricing page says “Spam and wrong numbers don’t count at all”, while Rosie’s help centre says calls from blocked numbers use no minutes but does not say the same of calls its spam detection hangs up on. For how seven other vendors price the same kind of month, see our guide to what an AI receptionist costs a small business.

Goodcall vs Rosie features: booking, transfers, texting and languages
Price is half the choice. The table below sets each job a small business gives its receptionist against what each vendor’s own pages say, with the plan where Rosie gates a feature. A cell that says “we could not find” means we searched every page in that vendor’s sitemaps for the feature in the vendor’s own words and did not find it, as at 31 October 2026; it does not mean the vendor cannot do it.
| Job | Goodcall | Rosie |
|---|---|---|
| Book into a calendar during the call | Google Calendar natively, “or connect to your booking system through its API”; no plan gate printed on its pricing page | Google Calendar, Calendly, Acuity and Appointlet, from Scale ($149); Professional texts a booking link instead |
| Transfer to a person | Escalation contacts: retries a busy line and tries the next contact, “up to three contacts”; unlimited transfer numbers on every plan | Cold and warm transfers on Scale and Growth; waterfall (several numbers in turn) on Growth only; “one transfer attempt per call” |
| Text the caller | Sends a confirmation or a link; “It can’t receive replies yet” | Booking links by text on every plan; texts during the call from Scale; Website Texting add-on, which moves a website visitor’s conversation to SMS, $50 a month for 25 conversations, then $1 each |
| Website chat and social DMs | We could not find web chat, Messenger or Instagram on Goodcall’s product, pricing or FAQ pages; one Goodcall article says it integrates with Twilio Flex’s SMS, email and WhatsApp channels | Website Chat free on every plan; Facebook Messenger and Instagram DM replies “included on every Rosie plan at no extra cost” |
| Languages | Goodcall’s pages differ: its how-it-works FAQ says “English, today”; its answering-service page and a 30 October 2026 article say English and Spanish | “English & Spanish on every call” |
| CRM and other tools | Google Calendar, Google Sheets and HighLevel natively; Zapier to 10,000+ apps; any API or MCP server (1, 5 or 15 “external tools” by plan) | Zapier to 1,000+ apps; 18 named CRMs including Jobber, Housecall Pro, HubSpot, GoHighLevel and Pipedrive, one CRM per account, on every plan |
| Phone number | Local US number included; forward your line to it; no toll-free, Canadian or international numbers; no self-service porting | A Rosie number you forward to; pick your area code; US businesses only, no international numbers |
| Set-up time stated | Picking a number “takes about two minutes”; no overall figure on its pricing or FAQ pages | “Initial setup can take as little as 10 minutes” |
| Trying it first | Free demo agent; pay when you add a number and pick a plan | 7-day free trial of all features |
| Outbound follow-up calls | Pricing, FAQ and how-it-works pages describe answering only; Goodcall articles disagree (see below) | We could not find the agent placing outbound calls on Rosie’s 133 site pages or 52 help-centre pages |
Four cells need their counter-statements spelled out, because each vendor’s own pages pull in two directions.
Goodcall and Spanish. Goodcall’s how-it-works page answers “What languages does it speak?” with “English, today.” Its answering-service hub says “Callers are answered in English or Spanish”, and its bilingual answering article, dated 30 October 2026, says Goodcall “answers business calls 24/7 in English and Spanish.” The hub and the article are the newer pages, but if Spanish callers matter to you, make a Spanish test call on Goodcall’s free demo agent before you pay.
Rosie and CRMs. Rosie’s pricing FAQ says it connects through Zapier and “We are actively working on direct CRM integrations”. Its help centre article on CRM integrations, updated 1 October 2026, lists 18 CRMs with direct connections and says they are “included on every Rosie plan”. The help article is the more specific and carries an update date of 1 October 2026; the pricing FAQ carries no date, so ask Rosie which applies to your CRM before you rely on it.
Goodcall and outbound calls. Goodcall’s pricing, FAQ, home and how-it-works pages describe an agent that answers calls. Several of its articles say more: one dated 12 June 2026 answers “Can Goodcall’s AI handle both inbound and outbound calls?” with “Yes, Goodcall supports both inbound and outbound call management”, while another, dated 21 May 2026, lists among Goodcall’s cons “Built for inbound call automation, not outbound campaigns”. If you need the agent to call leads back, get Goodcall’s answer in writing for your plan.
Rosie and texting. Rosie’s pricing page puts “Send appointment links by text” on Professional. A help article dated 14 August 2026 says its separate Text a Link feature (non-booking links such as directions) is “not available for users on the Professional plan”, and quotes older plan prices of $99 and $199; the pricing page’s $149 and $299 are current.
One more source to treat with care: Rosie publishes its own Rosie vs Goodcall comparison (21 September 2026), and the Goodcall prices it prints do not match goodcall.com/pricing today. A vendor’s page about a rival can lag the rival’s price list, which is why every Goodcall figure here comes from Goodcall.
Trial, cancellation and refunds
Both vendors let you try before paying, in different ways. Goodcall gives you a free demo agent: “Build it, test it and hear it answer at no cost. You only start paying when you add a phone number and pick a plan.” You are then charged on that date each month, and an upgrade starts at once with “the prorated difference” charged. Rosie gives a 7-day free trial of all features; its terms say trials “may not be available to everyone” and are only for subscribers who have never subscribed before, and its help centre says your first charge comes at the end of the trial.
Cancelling is simple on both. Goodcall’s FAQ: “Every plan is month to month with no setup fee and no minimum term. You can cancel or downgrade any time from the Billing page in the app.” There is no pause; downgrading to the free demo keeps your agent’s set-up but gives up its number. Rosie’s FAQ: “There are no contracts and no cancellation fees,” and you keep access to the end of the billing period.
Refunds differ in wording. Goodcall’s Terms of Service, last revised 28 September 2024, say “Payments made by you hereunder are final. You may request a refund for the current month of service from Goodcall.” Rosie’s terms say that, except for downgrades and cancellations made as the terms allow, “payments are nonrefundable, and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods.” We have not compared the two vendors’ other contract terms; read each vendor’s own Goodcall terms and Rosie terms for recording, data and liability clauses before you sign.
Which should I pick, Goodcall or Rosie?
Pull one month of call logs and answer four questions in order: how many calls, how many different callers, how long the calls run, and where your bookings and leads have to land. The thresholds below come from the cost and feature tables above.
| If your month looks like this | Pick | Why, from the tables |
|---|---|---|
| Up to about 83 calls of 3 billed minutes (250 minutes), and a texted booking link is enough | Rosie Professional | $49 covers 250 billed minutes; Goodcall’s lowest price is $79 |
| More than about 83 three-minute calls, up to 600 | Goodcall, on price | Rosie’s next plan is $149 and its top published plan $299; Goodcall’s bill ran $79 to $155 in every profile we computed |
| Calls averaging 5 billed minutes or more, more than 50 a month | Goodcall, on price | 51 five-minute calls are 255 minutes, past Rosie’s $49 plan; Goodcall does not meter time |
| Many callers ring back about the same job | Goodcall | A repeat caller is one customer a month, however many calls |
| You also want website chat and Messenger or Instagram replies from one agent | Rosie | Both included on every Rosie plan; we could not find either on Goodcall’s product pages |
| You need a custom API or MCP connection | Goodcall | Any API or MCP server can be added as an external tool (1, 5 or 15 by plan); both vendors connect to HighLevel |
| You run Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceM8 or another listed field-service CRM | Rosie | Direct CRM logging on every plan, per Rosie’s help centre; Goodcall’s own Jobber and Housecall Pro pages describe connecting through an API, which its pricing page counts as an external tool (1, 5 or 15 by plan) |
| You want callers followed up by voice, SMS, email and WhatsApp after the call | Zian, or LeadsNow.ai done for you | Outbound follow-up across those channels is part of Zian’s published capability; neither vendor’s pricing page describes outbound follow-up, and Goodcall’s own articles disagree on whether its agent places outbound calls |
| Your business is outside the US | Neither, today | Goodcall numbers are “local US numbers today”; Rosie “only supports US businesses” |
If your count sits near a line, budget for the plan above it. On Rosie, rounding up every call can push a month over a plan line without any extra talk time; on Goodcall, your real ratio of calls to callers decides whether you stay on Starter.
Who each option is wrong for
Goodcall is wrong for a very small business with fewer than about 83 three-minute calls a month, which pays $79 for a job Rosie’s Professional plan does for $49. It is also wrong for a business that wants the same agent answering website chat and Instagram messages, because we could not find those channels on Goodcall’s product pages, and for one that needs two-way texting from the agent’s number, which its FAQ says cannot receive replies yet.
Rosie is wrong for a busy line with long calls: every minute is counted and rounded up, so a 600-call month of 5-minute calls is beyond its top published plan. It is wrong on Professional for anyone who needs live transfers or direct calendar booking, which start on Scale. And its terms allow no refunds for partly used periods.
Both are wrong today for an Australian business that wants an Australian number: neither issues one. For how AI receptionist pricing reads from Australia, see our guide to reading AI receptionist pricing in Australia.
Zian is wrong, for now, for a buyer who needs a published price before trying anything, because it publishes none during its beta. LeadsNow.ai is wrong for a business that wants to configure the agent itself, because it is a managed service.
One platform for the answer and the follow-up. Zian answers inbound calls 24/7, books appointments, handles voicemail on calls and follows up by voice, SMS, email, WhatsApp, Instagram DMs and Facebook Messenger. It is in partnership-application beta. Apply For Partnership
Frequently asked questions
Is Goodcall cheaper than Rosie?
It depends on your volume. At 75 calls of 3 billed minutes a month, Rosie costs $49 and Goodcall $79. At 300 calls Goodcall costs $129 and Rosie $149, and at 600 calls Goodcall costs $129 to $155 against Rosie’s $299, on each vendor’s own pricing page as at 31 October 2026. Above about 83 three-minute calls a month, Goodcall was cheaper in every profile we ran.
How does Goodcall count a unique customer?
One phone number, once a month. Goodcall’s pricing page says the same person calling five times in a month is one customer, and spam and wrong numbers don’t count. Extra customers bill at 79¢ on Starter, 26¢ on Growth and 15¢ on Scale, and call length never changes the bill.
What happens if I go over my Rosie minutes?
Rosie has no per-minute overage. It emails you as you near the limit, then moves you up to the next plan at that plan’s standard price, and you stay there until you downgrade. Rosie’s terms say changes that add fees apply to the current billing period and at least the next two, so ask how that applies to an automatic upgrade.
Do Goodcall and Rosie book appointments into my calendar?
Yes, differently. Goodcall books into Google Calendar natively, or into another booking system through its API. Rosie books into Google Calendar, Calendly, Acuity and Appointlet from its $149 Scale plan; its $49 Professional plan texts the caller a booking link instead.
Do Goodcall and Rosie speak Spanish?
Rosie says it speaks English and Spanish on every call. Goodcall’s pages differ: its how-it-works page says “English, today”, while its answering-service page and a 30 October 2026 article say English and Spanish. Make a Spanish test call on Goodcall’s free demo agent before you pay.
Can I use Goodcall or Rosie in Australia?
Not with an Australian number. Goodcall’s FAQ says its numbers are local US numbers today, with no toll-free, Canadian or international numbers, and Rosie’s help centre says it only supports US businesses and does not issue international numbers.
Is there a free trial of Goodcall or Rosie?
Rosie offers a 7-day free trial of all features, limited by its terms to new subscribers. Goodcall offers a free demo agent instead: you build and test it at no cost and start paying when you add a phone number and pick a plan. Goodcall plans are month to month with no setup fee.
