Aircall vs JustCall: Which Phone System to Pick - Zian AI

Aircall vs JustCall: Which Phone System to Pick

Quick answer: Aircall and JustCall list seats US$1 apart: JustCall Team is US$29 a user a month and Aircall Essentials US$30, billed annually, with minimums of 2 and 3 licences. If you run an AI voice agent, its minute rate usually decides: US$0.29 on Aircall after 50 free minutes, US$0.99 on JustCall pay-as-you-go. For AI agents that answer and follow up, start with Zian. Prices as at 31 October 2026; Aircall’s AI rate as at 4 November 2026.

Aircall and JustCall are cloud phone systems for sales and support teams, and both now sell an AI voice agent. Aircall sells one product in three plans (Essentials, Professional, Enterprise), with AI Voice Agents billed by the minute. JustCall sells an AI Communication Suite (Team, Pro, Pro Plus, Business) and a Sales Suite (SalesPro), with its AI Voice Agent as an add-on on all plans, also billed by the minute. On list price the two are almost identical, so the useful question is which constraint binds you: team size, AI minutes, the kind of dialler, what AI sits in the seat, WhatsApp, or leaving. Every vendor fact below comes from Aircall’s and JustCall’s own pricing pages, help centres and release notes, read on 31 October 2026 (Aircall’s AI Voice Agent prices re-read on 4 November 2026), in US dollars unless marked A$.

Where Zian fits next to Aircall or JustCall

If what you need is calls answered at 2am and every lead chased, pick the AI agent layer first and the phone system second. Zian AI is an AI sales and reception agents platform: its agents answer inbound calls 24/7 as an AI receptionist that qualifies callers, books appointments, transfers and takes messages, and they place outbound calls and follow up by SMS, email and WhatsApp.

The same agents hold conversations in Instagram DMs and Facebook Messenger, handle answering machines and voicemail, work in 30+ languages, and connect to HubSpot, Salesforce, HighLevel, Zapier and an API. Zian’s home page reports 28x more contact attempts, a 926% increase in follow-ups, and AI that books 40+ meetings/week for many teams.

Zian is not the only AI receptionist on this page. Aircall’s AI Receptionist “schedules, reschedules, or cancels appointments on the call itself”, and JustCall’s AI Voice Agent can “Book, text, transfer, navigate IVRs, and trigger workflows”. The difference is scope: those agents run on that vendor’s own numbers, priced per minute, while Zian’s agents cover inbound calls and outbound follow-up across every channel above.

The honest limit: Zian is in a partnership-application beta with no published prices; each of its three listed plans, including Intel + Widgets (Free Forever), starts with a partnership application. If you would rather have it run for you, LeadsNow.ai is the done-for-you option: a managed, pay-per-result AI appointment-setting service that runs on Zian, answers leads in under 60 seconds, 24/7, and has set 50,769+ appointments.

Aircall vs JustCall: the shortlist

Rows 1 and 2 are our picks when the job is answering and following up without adding headcount. Rows 3 and 4 are the head-to-head, not ranked against each other (see the decision table).

# Tool What it is AI receptionist Entry price, as at 31 October 2026
1 Zian AI sales and reception agents platform Yes: answers inbound calls 24/7, qualifies, books, transfers, takes messages; outbound calls, SMS, email, WhatsApp follow-up No published prices; partnership-application beta; Free Forever plan (Intel + Widgets) listed
2 LeadsNow.ai Done-for-you AI appointment setting that runs on Zian Managed for you; leads answered in under 60 seconds, 24/7 Pay-per-result
3 Aircall Cloud phone system for sales and support, one product in three plans AI Voice Agents (AI Receptionist): 50 minutes a month on all plans, then US$0.29 a minute pay-as-you-go (as at 4 November 2026) Essentials US$30 per licence a month billed annually (US$40 monthly); 3-licence minimum
4 JustCall Cloud phone system with an AI Communication Suite and a Sales Suite AI Voice Agent add-on: US$0.99 a minute pay-as-you-go, or 300 minutes for US$249 a month Team US$29 per user a month billed annually (US$39 monthly); 2-licence minimum

Aircall vs JustCall pricing, plan by plan

The table lists each vendor’s US list prices as shown on Aircall’s pricing page and JustCall’s pricing page on 31 October 2026. Both pages default to annual billing. Aircall’s monthly rates load from the page’s own script when you switch to “Pay monthly”; JustCall’s monthly rates sit in the page’s price data behind its “Monthly” toggle and match its pricing guide.

Plan Annual billing, per user a month Monthly billing, per user a month Minimum users What the plan is for
Aircall Essentials US$30 US$40 3 Phone system: unlimited US and Canada calls, SMS and MMS, IVR, recordings and AI transcripts, 250+ integrations, 50 AI Voice Agent minutes
Aircall Professional US$50 US$70 3 Adds AI call summaries, smart routing, Power Dialer, outbound call campaigns, voicemail drop, Salesforce
Aircall Enterprise Custom pricing Custom pricing 25 Unlimited global calls, SSO and SCIM, enterprise SLA
JustCall Team US$29 US$39 2 Unlimited US and Canada outbound minutes (Fair Usage Policy), 500 SMS segments a licence, WhatsApp inbox, 100+ CRM integrations, single-level IVR
JustCall Pro US$49 US$69 2 Adds power dialler, bulk SMS, queue callback, intelligent routing, Salesforce CTI, 1,000 SMS segments a licence
JustCall Pro Plus US$89 US$109 2 Adds AI call summaries, AI call scoring, sentiment analysis, real-time agent assist
JustCall Business Custom pricing Custom pricing 10 SSO, enterprise SLA, HIPAA and GDPR compliance, phone support
JustCall SalesPro Request a quote Request a quote 2 Sales Dialer with predictive or parallel dialling up to 10 lines, answering machine detection, automatic voicemail drop

Four limbs matter before you compare totals. Minimums: Aircall says “All plans require a minimum of 3 licenses regardless of billing cycle”, and JustCall says it does “not offer single-user or single-seat plans”. Numbers: Aircall includes one and charges US$6 a month for each extra; JustCall includes two per account (one for its Sales Dialer) if each costs US$6 or less, with 20% off extra numbers on annual plans. Add-ons: JustCall charges them “for every license on your account”. Fair use: JustCall’s unlimited calling “can’t be used for trunking, for forwarding calls to systems that handle multiple calls at once (such as a PBX), or for large-scale calling such as call centers or telemarketing”, and Aircall’s unlimited calling carries “Terms of Use apply”.

JustCall’s SalesPro is sold by quote on the pricing page, but its help centre describes a SalesPro Lite variant at US$79 a user a month annual or US$99 monthly, with a 3,000-minute fair-use allowance. Annual billing saves 25% on Aircall Essentials and 28.6% on Professional; on JustCall, 25.6% on Team, 29.0% on Pro and 18.3% on Pro Plus.

For Australian teams the two are level. Aircall’s Australian pricing page lists Essentials at A$45 and Professional at A$75 per licence a month billed annually (A$60 and A$105 monthly), and JustCall’s pricing guide lists Team at A$45 and Pro at A$75 (A$60 and A$105 monthly). Both entry plans cap Australian outbound calling at 1,000 minutes a licence (and JustCall Team includes no SMS segments there); both second-tier plans make it unlimited.

The One-Dollar Gap: why seat price rarely decides Aircall vs JustCall

The One-Dollar Gap. JustCall’s list seats sit exactly US$1 a user a month below Aircall’s on both matched tiers and both billing cycles (US$29 against US$30, US$39 against US$40, US$49 against US$50, US$69 against US$70), and level in Australian dollars. So the seat line almost never decides this choice. Three other lines do: the seat minimum, the AI voice agent minute rate, and which tier carries the feature you need.

At 300 AI voice agent minutes a month, JustCall’s 300-minute bundle costs US$249 and Aircall’s pay-as-you-go line costs (300 − 50 included) × US$0.29 = US$72.50, so JustCall costs US$176.50 a month more for the agent. A US$1-a-seat saving covers that only above 176.5 seats, so JustCall Team works out cheaper than Aircall Essentials on seats plus AI minutes only from 177 users up, before numbers, add-ons and calls. With no AI voice agent at all, JustCall is the lower list price at every team size: by US$1 a seat a month from three users up, and by more below three, where Aircall still bills its 3-licence minimum.

The seat minimum matters at the small end: Aircall’s smallest phone-system order is 3 × US$30 × 12 = US$1,080 a year, JustCall’s 2 × US$29 × 12 = US$696. For AI call answering without phone seats, Aircall sells AI Voice Agents standalone from US$100 a month billed annually (US$125 monthly in the page’s script) (“The Starter AI Plan has no minimum, it includes 1 user”), while JustCall says “you’ll still need an active JustCall subscription”.

Aircall AI vs JustCall AI: what is included and what costs extra

Both split AI into help for your people on calls (Aircall AI Assist; JustCall AI, which some older JustCall blog addresses call “iq”) and a voice agent that handles the call itself.

AI feature Aircall JustCall
Transcripts Call recordings and AI transcripts on all plans Unlimited AI transcription on Team, Pro and Pro Plus in the US region; 2,000 minutes a licence on Team in Australia, the UK and Europe
Call summaries Included on Professional; AI Assist add-on on Essentials Included on Pro Plus; on Team and Pro through the AI Review Assist add-on, US$9 a user a month
Live in-call coaching AI Assist Pro add-on, US$49 per seat a month Real-time agent assist included on Pro Plus (US$89) and above
AI voice agent (receptionist) 50 minutes a month on all plans, plus 100 one-off trial minutes for new accounts; US$0.29 a minute pay-as-you-go, billed to the exact decimal minute, calls under 15 seconds not billed; monthly bundles, billed monthly with an annual commitment, US$250 for 1,000 minutes, US$805 for 3,500, US$1,900 for 10,000; custom pricing over 50,000 minutes “as low as $0.12”; standalone from US$100 a month billed annually (US$125 monthly); as at 4 November 2026 Add-on on all plans: US$0.99 a minute pay-as-you-go, 100 minutes for US$99 or 300 for US$249 a month; “Volume discounts down to $0.15/min”; higher volumes quoted
Languages for the voice agent 38 14, with automatic language detection mid-call
Outbound AI calls “Trigger-based outbound calling and voicemail detection”; AI Voice Agent campaigns on all plans; a US$0.015 call origination fee on every outbound AI call attempt, “regardless of whether the call successfully connects”, “Not included in any minute bundles” (as at 4 November 2026) Outbound AI Voice Agent for consented leads; must be enabled on your account by your Customer Success Manager or support
AI on text messages AI Messaging Agents for SMS and WhatsApp, US$0.15–US$0.35 per conversation SMS bots (from Pro, per the pricing comparison) with “keyword, menu, or dynamic replies”, SMS Copilot (on Pro Plus, or with the Review Assist add-on), and the voice agent can send texts during a call

Two JustCall pages disagree. Its AI Voice Agent page says the Team plan includes “AI transcription and call summaries”, while its pricing comparison lists call summary as an add-on on Team and Pro and its AI Review Assist article sells that add-on to Team and Pro accounts. Its AI Voice Agent pricing article also says “Please connect with Sales/Account Manager team for tailored price”, so a quote can differ from the US$99 and US$249 bundles on the product page. Overage is US$0.99 a minute and unused minutes do not carry over. The pricing page and help centre give 100 free trial minutes; one product-page FAQ says 30. Aircall’s rates are published: its pricing page lists US$0.29 a minute pay-as-you-go “with no commitment”, and its AI Receptionist page says the cheaper-per-minute bundles are on “monthly billing, annual term”. That page shows no pay-as-you-go rate and says the AI Receptionist “is billed as a monthly minute bundle”; the US$0.29 rate is on the pricing page and in Aircall’s billing article. On the smallest bundle, US$250 a month, Aircall’s AI line costs US$1 a month more than JustCall’s US$249 for 300 minutes, so the One-Dollar Gap favours Aircall only where pay-as-you-go is open to you. Aircall’s pages differ on where custom volume pricing starts: its pricing table says over 50,000 minutes, “as low as $0.12”, while its pricing FAQ offers “10,000+ minutes at custom rates starting from $0.19/minute” and its AI Voice Agent charges article says custom bundles are “Available starting at 10,000 minutes”, as at 4 November 2026.

Which has the better dialler, Aircall or JustCall?

For one-line power dialling, the two are level on price. Aircall’s Power Dialer is on Professional (US$50 annual); its Power Dialer article says it will “automatically dial them in sequence”, takes lists of up to 1,000 numbers, runs on the desktop and web apps only, and while a session runs “you will not receive incoming calls”. JustCall’s power dialler is on Pro (US$49 annual), with local presence, manual voicemail drop and three reattempts per contact listed on the pricing page’s comparison.

For multi-line dialling, JustCall has the published option. Its pricing comparison lists a “Predictive/parallel dialer” on SalesPro, marked “(up to 10 lines)”, plus a dynamic dialler, answering machine detection and automatic voicemail drop on SalesPro, and its Sales Dialer article says Pro, Pro Plus and Business accounts can use predictive and dynamic campaigns only up to the trial allowance. We could not find a predictive or multi-line dialler for human reps on Aircall’s pricing page, Power Dialer article, Outbound Campaigns articles, its help-centre article titles or its July to September 2026 release notes, as at 31 October 2026. Aircall’s “Parallel calling” article describes holding one call while placing a second, not a dialler, and its AI Voice Agent campaigns run parallel calls handled by the AI.

Aircall’s team campaigns are the other route. Its August 2026 release notes say “Outbound Campaigns is now generally available” (25 August 2026), and its Outbound Campaigns overview puts agent campaigns on the Professional plan “at no additional cost”, though the same sentence of that overview still says agent campaigns are “currently in beta” as at 31 October 2026; the release notes say contacts are “dialed automatically”, and the overview says the system “advances to the next one after each call”. For when a dialler or an AI agent fits the job, see our guide to AI phone agents versus predictive diallers; for a dialler-first view, our Aircall vs PhoneBurner comparison for SDR teams.

What 5 and 20 users cost on Aircall and JustCall: the worked calculation

List prices only, computed by script, as at 31 October 2026 (Aircall’s AI Voice Agent rate as at 4 November 2026), in US dollars, before taxes, international calls and 10DLC fees. Seat cost is price × users × 12. A direct line per user assumes a US$6 local number on both, which is JustCall’s own example (US$4.80 on its annual plans). The AI voice agent line assumes 300 AI-answered minutes a month, about 100 calls of 3 minutes. Aircall bills AI minutes “to the exact decimal minute” and does not bill calls under 15 seconds, so whole 3-minute calls bill as exactly 3 minutes; its US$0.015 fee per outbound AI call attempt does not apply to these inbound calls.

Line Calculation 5 users a year 20 users a year
Aircall Essentials, annual US$30 × users × 12 US$1,800 US$7,200
Aircall Essentials, monthly US$40 × users × 12 US$2,400 US$9,600
Aircall Professional, annual US$50 × users × 12 US$3,000 US$12,000
Aircall Professional, monthly US$70 × users × 12 US$4,200 US$16,800
JustCall Team, annual US$29 × users × 12 US$1,740 US$6,960
JustCall Team, monthly US$39 × users × 12 US$2,340 US$9,360
JustCall Pro, annual US$49 × users × 12 US$2,940 US$11,760
JustCall Pro, monthly US$69 × users × 12 US$4,140 US$16,560
JustCall Pro Plus, annual US$89 × users × 12 US$5,340 US$21,360
JustCall AI Review Assist (call summaries on Team or Pro) US$9 × users × 12 US$540 US$2,160
Aircall AI Assist Pro (live coaching) US$49 × users × 12 US$2,940 US$11,760
Aircall direct line per user (users − 1) × US$6 × 12 US$288 US$1,368
JustCall direct line per user, annual plan (users − 1) × US$4.80 × 12 US$230.40 US$1,094.40
Aircall AI voice agent, pay-as-you-go (300 − 50 included) × US$0.29 × 12 US$870 US$870
JustCall AI voice agent, pay-as-you-go 300 × US$0.99 × 12 US$3,564 US$3,564
JustCall AI voice agent, 300-minute bundle US$249 × 12 US$2,988 US$2,988
Aircall Essentials + direct lines + AI agent Sum of the three lines US$2,958 US$9,438
JustCall Team + direct lines + AI agent bundle Sum of the three lines US$4,958.40 US$11,042.40
Aircall Professional + direct lines + AI agent Sum of the three lines US$4,158 US$14,238
JustCall Pro + Review Assist + direct lines + AI agent bundle Sum of the four lines US$6,698.40 US$18,002.40
Aircall Professional + AI Assist Pro Sum of the two lines US$5,940 US$23,760
JustCall Pro Plus (live coaching included) One line US$5,340 US$21,360

Without an AI voice agent JustCall is the lower list price: 5 users cost US$1,740 a year on Team against US$1,800 on Aircall Essentials. With 300 AI minutes a month the order flips: 5 users cost US$2,958 on Aircall Essentials against US$4,958.40 on JustCall Team, and at the sales tier US$4,158 on Aircall Professional against US$6,698.40 on JustCall Pro with call summaries added. For live AI coaching inside the seat, JustCall Pro Plus is the lower figure: US$5,340 a year for 5 users against US$5,940 for Aircall Professional plus AI Assist Pro.

Swap in your own numbers. Aircall’s smallest bundle, 1,000 minutes for US$250 a month (US$3,000 a year), costs more than pay-as-you-go at 300 minutes (US$870 a year); it only pays once you use more than about 912 minutes a month (50 included + US$250 ÷ US$0.29), so the table uses pay-as-you-go. WhatsApp is extra on Aircall (US$10 per seat a month) and inside the seat on JustCall; neither line includes Meta’s message charges.

Who each option is wrong for

Zian is wrong for a team that only wants a lower-cost phone line with no AI handling, and for a buyer who needs a published price today.

Aircall is wrong for one- or two-person teams wanting its phone plans (3-licence minimum; only the standalone AI Voice Agents plan has none), for reps who must power-dial from a mobile, and for teams wanting multi-line dialling. It does not refund a committed term: its cancellation article answers “Can I get a refund?” with “No”, accounts over 10 seats need 30 days’ written notice before renewal, and smaller accounts on an annual plan or commitment still follow the 30-day rule.

JustCall is wrong for teams running many AI voice agent minutes (US$0.99 pay-as-you-go is more than three times Aircall’s US$0.29, as at 4 November 2026), for anyone wanting call summaries on Team or Pro without an add-on, and for call centres counting on “unlimited” calling, which its Fair Usage Policy excludes. Its outbound AI Voice Agent must be switched on by its team, and its refund policy accepts refunds only for a duplicate payment or a mistaken charge after cancellation.

Texting, WhatsApp and 10DLC on Aircall and JustCall

Both include SMS. Aircall’s SMS is “available in 14 countries across North America, Europe, and Australia”, domestic delivery only except between the US and Canada, and its plan table includes 4,000 outbound messages per user a month. JustCall includes 500 SMS segments a licence on Team and 1,000 on Pro and Pro Plus in the US region; automated and bulk messages are charged from credits.

WhatsApp is where they differ most. Aircall’s WhatsApp add-on is US$10 per licence a month and “Requires paid Aircall Plan”, with WhatsApp messaging rates extra, which Aircall’s October 2026 help article says it passes through “with no markup added”. JustCall’s WhatsApp page says WhatsApp is available on Team and above, that Meta charges separately, and that “JustCall does not add per-message fees on top of the subscription”.

For US texting, both require A2P 10DLC registration and both publish the fees: a US$46 one-time brand fee for standard brands, US$15 per vetting or campaign submission, and a monthly campaign fee of US$2 or US$10 depending on the use case, with a US$1.50 low-volume option also on Aircall’s list. Aircall’s 10DLC FAQ says carrier vetting “can take 5–30 business days”. Our guide to how long A2P 10DLC registration takes covers the stages.

CRM integrations on Aircall and JustCall

Aircall lists HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho and Zendesk integrations on all plans and Salesforce from Professional, with 250+ integrations. JustCall’s pricing page lists “100+ CRM & data integrations” from Team, and its plan comparison marks Salesforce integration from Pro, not on Team, with Salesforce CTI from Pro; its Salesforce page says “Every plan includes Salesforce integration”, with click-to-call and auto-logging on Team and the CTI from Pro. Weighing a third system too? Our Aircall vs Dialpad comparison uses the same method, and our Aircall vs Quo comparison sets Aircall’s per-minute AI billing against Quo’s per-call AI pricing.

How we compared Aircall and JustCall

Methodology and defined terms. A feature counts as on a plan only when the vendor’s own pricing page, plan comparison or help article places it there, read for “beta”, “add-on” and plan or region limits; where two of a vendor’s pages disagree, we print both. A published price is one on the vendor’s pricing page, product page or help centre, including prices that load from the page’s own script or data; promotional price keys that the page did not display were ignored. “We could not find” means we searched in the vendor’s vocabulary with a positive control on the same files. On 31 October 2026 that covered Aircall’s US and Australian pricing pages and price script, its help-centre sitemap (4,212 URLs) and its July to September 2026 release notes, and JustCall’s pricing page and price data, product pages, 18 help-centre articles and every What’s New entry from 2 August to 31 October 2026 (nine updates, none changing a price or plan used here). We used neither vendor’s comparison page for the other’s facts. Zian is described only from its published capabilities. Ranking: Zian first and LeadsNow.ai second as the done-for-you option; Aircall and JustCall are not ranked against each other.

Disclosure. zian.ai publishes this page and sells Zian, which is ranked first here. LeadsNow.ai is a sister business that runs on Zian.

Aircall vs JustCall: frequently asked questions

Is Aircall or JustCall better?

It depends on what you run on top of the phones. Seat prices are almost level: JustCall Team is US$29 a user a month and Aircall Essentials US$30, both billed annually. Aircall’s AI Voice Agent costs US$0.29 a minute pay-as-you-go against JustCall’s US$0.99, so AI-heavy teams usually pay less on Aircall; one- or two-person teams and teams wanting a multi-line dialler usually suit JustCall. Prices as at 31 October 2026; Aircall’s AI rate as at 4 November 2026.

Is JustCall cheaper than Aircall?

On seats alone, by US$1 a user a month on both matched tiers on annual billing (US$29 against US$30, US$49 against US$50), and JustCall’s minimum is 2 licences against Aircall’s 3. With an AI voice agent at 300 minutes a month the order flips: 5 users with 300 AI minutes a month cost US$4,158 a year on Aircall Professional and US$6,698.40 on JustCall Pro in our worked calculation.

What is the minimum number of users on Aircall and JustCall?

Aircall says “All plans require a minimum of 3 licenses regardless of billing cycle” for Essentials and Professional; Enterprise needs 25, and its standalone AI Voice Agents plan includes 1 user from US$100 a month billed annually. JustCall’s licence guide says all plans need at least 2 licences, and its Business plan lists a minimum of 10.

Does JustCall have an AI receptionist?

Yes. JustCall’s AI Voice Agent is an add-on on every plan that answers calls 24/7, books appointments, sends texts and transfers to your team. Its product page lists US$0.99 a minute pay-as-you-go, or 100 minutes for US$99 and 300 minutes for US$249 a month, and supports 14 languages. Aircall’s AI Receptionist costs US$0.29 a minute pay-as-you-go after 50 included minutes, as at 4 November 2026, and speaks 38 languages.

Which has a power dialler, Aircall or JustCall?

Both do. Aircall’s Power Dialer is on Professional at US$50 a licence a month billed annually and dials up to 1,000 imported numbers in sequence. JustCall’s power dialler is on Pro at US$49, and its predictive or parallel dialler, up to 10 lines, is on SalesPro, which its pricing page sells by quote.

Can I get a refund from Aircall or JustCall?

Rarely. Aircall’s cancellation article answers “Can I get a refund?” with “No”. JustCall refunds only a duplicate payment or a charge made by mistake after cancellation. Aircall accounts over 10 seats must give 30 days’ written notice.

Can an AI agent replace Aircall or JustCall?

Not usually. An AI agent sits on top of a phone line and hands calls to a person when needed. Zian runs AI agents that answer inbound calls 24/7 and follow up by voice, SMS, email and WhatsApp.
