Quick answer: Frontspin is no longer sold as its own product: frontspin.com redirects to TitanX, whose single-line Precision Dialer starts at $475 a seat a month, paid annually, for at least 3 reps. PhoneBurner, a power dialler its FAQ calls single-line, starts at $140 a user a month billed annually ($165 monthly, no contract) and dials only US and Canadian numbers. If leads go uncalled, an AI agent such as Zian makes the calls itself. Prices as at 28 October 2026.
“PhoneBurner vs Frontspin for my SDRs” now means PhoneBurner against TitanX’s Precision Dialer, where Frontspin went. Both describe themselves as single-line. The differences are who-will-answer scoring (PhoneBurner’s Connect Scores add-on against TitanX’s built-in Phone Intent), spam-flag handling (PhoneBurner’s ARMOR add-on against TitanX’s bundled Titan Defense), CRM reach (Salesforce, HubSpot and many more against Salesforce and HubSpot), countries, and a seat price roughly three times higher. Every vendor fact below comes from that vendor’s own pages, help centre or terms, read on 28 October 2026.
Where Zian fits before you buy dialler seats
If your SDRs cannot reach every lead, or leads wait hours for a first call and never get a second, start with an AI agent rather than more dialler seats. Zian AI is an AI sales and reception agents platform whose agents place outbound calls, follow up by SMS, email and WhatsApp, and book the appointment themselves.
They also answer inbound calls 24/7 as an AI receptionist that qualifies, books, transfers and takes messages. They handle answering machines and voicemail, and hold conversations in Instagram DMs and Facebook Messenger. Zian works in 30+ languages and connects to HubSpot, Salesforce, HighLevel, Zapier and an API. Zian’s home page reports 28x more contact attempts, a 926% increase in follow-ups, and AI that books 40+ meetings/week for many teams.
Zian is a different shape of tool from PhoneBurner and TitanX: an AI agent that holds the call and the follow-up itself, not software that helps a human rep dial faster. TitanX states its own position plainly: “A rep places every call; no AI places calls for them.” Our explainer on how AI phone agents differ from predictive and power diallers shows where each fits; the two can run side by side.
The honest limit: Zian is in a partnership-application beta with no published prices; zian.ai lists a Free Forever plan (Intel + Widgets). If you would rather have the calling run for you, LeadsNow.ai is the done-for-you option: a managed, pay-per-result AI appointment-setting service that runs on Zian, answers leads in under 60 seconds, 24/7, and has set 50,769+ appointments.
Is Frontspin still sold? What “Frontspin” means in October 2026
Not separately. A request to frontspin.com on 28 October 2026 was redirected to titanx.io. The structured data on TitanX’s home page says: “TitanX bought FrontSpin in February 2026 and integrated it fully into the TitanX Precision Dialer platform. FrontSpin is no longer a separate product or company.” TitanX’s acquisition post had said FrontSpin “will continue to operate as a standalone business”, with the platforms unified “over time”. TitanX’s launch post, dated 14 October 2026, says: “Today TitanX launches the Precision Dialer.” So the product on sale is about two weeks old.
The Frontspin many SDR leaders remember is not what TitanX now sells. FrontSpin’s help centre at support.frontspin.com is still online and does not mention TitanX. Its Parallel Dialer article (last updated 27 January 2025) says “FrontSpin has added the ability to dial up to 5 lines simultaneously for lists”. A February 2026 release note says “FrontSpin can now act as your CRM”, for “P1 server clients”. TitanX’s Precision Dialer page says the opposite: “TitanX is a single-line precision dialer. We will never offer a parallel dialing mode or feature.” If you relied on Frontspin’s parallel option, ask TitanX in writing about your contract.
PhoneBurner vs Frontspin (TitanX) for SDRs: the shortlist
Rows 1 and 2 are our picks for teams that want calls made without adding headcount. Rows 3 and 4 are this page’s head-to-head, unranked against each other because the right one depends on team size, list and CRM (see the decision table). For a wider field that also covers Aircall, Nooks and RocketPhone, see our comparison of RocketPhone, Aircall, Nooks and Frontspin for SDRs.

|---|---|---|
| Dialling mode | FAQ: “Can I dial more than 1 person at a time? No, and for good reason”; modes “Power Dialing” and “Pause and Preview”. Its auto dialler page says reps can “dial several lines simultaneously” | “a single-line sales dialer”; “We will never offer a parallel dialing mode or feature”; Smart Stream queue is “deterministic and event-driven, not AI” |
| Published dial or conversation rate | “agents can reach up to 80 contacts per hour” | No hourly dial rate on current pages; “20%-30% connect rates”, “50% fewer dials”, “10–20+ conversations with prospects a day instead of 2–3” |
| Who-will-answer scoring | Connect Scores add-on: Low, Medium or High; scores valid 14 days; extra capacity $15 per 1,000 numbers | Phone Intent built into the seat: P1, P2, P3 or NA; Smart Stream dials only P1 and P2 contacts |

| Price and terms | $140, $165 or $183 annual; $165, $195 or $215 monthly; no contract; free trial without a credit card | From $475 a seat a month (Phone Intent alone from $375), paid annually, 3-rep minimum; guided pilots, not self-serve trials |
In one line: PhoneBurner is a low-commitment dialler for almost any CRM with scoring and spam protection as options; TitanX bundles both into a dearer seat, on Salesforce or HubSpot only.
Dialling mode: both are single-line, with one PhoneBurner caveat
Neither tool is a parallel dialler today. PhoneBurner’s FAQ says multi-line diallers “result in dropped calls that put companies at risk of costly TCPA and TSR violations” and calls PhoneBurner “a single-line dialer”. One page disagrees. PhoneBurner’s auto dialler page, read on 28 October 2026, says “The platform allows each rep to dial several lines simultaneously”, while the table on the same page still says “Up to 60–80 contacts per hour, per rep on a single line”. If you need more than one line, get the answer in writing.
TitanX’s security page calls single-line, human-initiated dialling “a permanent product decision”. The real difference is in the queue. In PhoneBurner, the rep or a LeadStream sets the order of a dial session. TitanX’s Smart Stream builds the queue itself: inbound Salesforce leads first, then due follow-ups, then scored campaign contacts. Its help article says it “only dials contacts that have been scored, and only P1 or P2 contacts.” For the multi-line side of this argument, see our PhoneBurner vs Nooks comparison of power and parallel dialling.
Who will answer? Connect Scores vs Phone Intent
Both vendors sell a score that predicts whether a number will be answered. They package it differently.
PhoneBurner’s Connect Scores is an add-on. It rates numbers Low, Medium or High “based on the likelihood of a live answer”. PhoneBurner says high-score numbers are “about 80% more likely to reach a live person than low-score numbers”. Its help centre lists three tiers: Starter scores up to 1,000 numbers a month, Growth 5,000 and Scale 15,000. Extra capacity costs “$15 per 1,000 numbers”, and “Scores are valid for 14 days”. We could not find the tier prices themselves.
TitanX’s Phone Intent is the core of the product. It sorts every contact into P1 (high intent) through P3 or NA (bad data), and says “Roughly 20% of a typical B2B list comes back as high intent.” It runs a 24-hour Lightning model and a 5-day Titan model. A current help article prices them in credits: “Lightning Scoring = 1 credit / phone number”, Titan Scoring 3 credits, and enrichment plus scoring 3 or 7 credits a contact. Each seat includes “a monthly allotment” of credits, size unpublished. Phone Intent also runs a waterfall that “can discover phone numbers for contact records you already have”, but TitanX “does not supply raw contacts”. TitanX adds that Phone Intent “does not guarantee that they’ll answer the phone on the first call attempt.”
The practical difference: PhoneBurner scores the numbers you already have and leaves the rep free to dial the rest. TitanX’s Smart Stream never dials P3 or bad-data contacts. TitanX recommends multi-channel outreach for P2 and P3 contacts and re-enrichment for bad data, and its waterfall tries to find a better number.
Spam flags and caller ID: ARMOR vs Titan Defense
The two disagree on what to do with a flagged number.
PhoneBurner’s ARMOR registers numbers “with over 10 carriers”, monitors them across major US carriers, and negotiates false flags off. Its ARMOR FAQ prices it at “$5 per month per PhoneBurner purchased number”, says “Free trials are not able to activate ARMOR®”, and says it “is not available for verified numbers”, meaning your own numbers. PhoneBurner advises against discarding flagged numbers, which it says “mimics bad actors”. PhoneBurner says numbers with ARMOR “average 15% higher answer rates”. Under STIR/SHAKEN, PhoneBurner numbers get “A” or “B” attestation; your own numbers get “B”.
TitanX’s Titan Defense is “Included with every Precision Dialer seat”. It registers each number “with all major telcos”, signs every call under STIR/SHAKEN, rotates numbers and applies local presence automatically, and remediates flags; “Most flags are resolved in days.” A number that “can’t be remediated” is replaced “at no additional cost”. Reps cannot pick a caller ID. Titan Defense is not available if you buy Phone Intent alone and keep your own dialler. TitanX warns that registering and warming numbers “take real time” before live dialling.

Recording, do-not-call and consent: what each tool does and what stays with you
Neither vendor takes on your legal duties. PhoneBurner’s terms say the client “(not PhoneBurner) shall be responsible for maintaining and enforcing an internal DNC list”. They also say you are “solely responsible” for making recordings, monitoring and transcription comply with “wiretapping, call-recording, and/or two-party consent laws”. TitanX’s Master Services Agreement (updated 8 May 2026) says the customer “is solely responsible for compliance with all applicable do-not-call requirements, including the National Do Not Call Registry and applicable state lists”. It adds that “TitanX does not provide notices nor obtain any rights or consents on Customer’s behalf”.
The tooling differs. PhoneBurner blocks calls outside 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM by default, judged by the contact’s area code. Its help article notes the block skips toll-free numbers and some states are stricter. Its Summer 2026 update added per-day calling times in 15-minute steps. Its DNC.com integration scrubs lists against “the national Do-Not-Call registry and known TCPA litigators and serial plaintiffs”; DNC.com is a separate service that needs its own API key. TitanX logs “Unsubscribe and removal signals from connected tools” for DNC processing. We could not find a calling-hours block or a registry-scrub feature on titanx.io, its help centre or its API docs, as at 28 October 2026. TitanX says its “full TCPA summary is in the security package”, which we did not see. FrontSpin’s legacy call-recording settings took a list of area and country codes to treat as two-party consent; we found no equivalent on phoneburner.com or in TitanX’s current help. Our guide to scrubbing a list against the National DNC Registry covers the registry side.
Connect math: the 2.9x test
A dialler earns its seat in conversations, not dials, and both vendors define that metric the same way. PhoneBurner’s answer rate is “the number of phone calls resulting in a live conversation divided by the number of phone calls made”. TitanX’s connect rate is “the share of dials that become a live conversation”. This calculation uses only vendor-published figures, computed by script.
Inputs, as published. PhoneBurner: “up to 80 contacts per hour”, a ceiling. Its customers “average double-digit answer rates, with over ⅓ of our customers exceeding 20% call answer rates”. TitanX: “20%-30% connect rates”, and customers who report “10–20+ conversations with prospects a day instead of 2–3”. A Legacy-section FAQ in TitanX’s help centre (14 July 2026) says that with scored data “A rep can have 8-12 conversations an hour.” Seat prices: $165 (PhoneBurner Professional) and $475 (TitanX Precision Dialer), both annual.
| Step | Calculation | Result |
|---|---|---|
| PhoneBurner conversations an hour at its 80-dial ceiling | 80 × 10% and 80 × 20% | 8.0 to 16.0 |
| Dials an hour implied by TitanX’s 8–12 conversations at 20–30% | 8 ÷ 0.30 and 12 ÷ 0.20 | 26.7 to 60.0 |
| Dials for 10 conversations on PhoneBurner (10% and 20%) | 10 ÷ 0.10 and 10 ÷ 0.20 | 100 and 50 dials (1.25 and 0.63 hours at 80 an hour) |
| Dials for 10 conversations on TitanX (20% and 30%) | 10 ÷ 0.20 and 10 ÷ 0.30 | 50.0 and 33.3 dials |
| Break-even multiple, TitanX seat vs PhoneBurner Professional (annual) | 475 ÷ 165 | 2.88x |
| Same, vs PhoneBurner Standard and Premium (annual) | 475 ÷ 140 and 475 ÷ 183 | 3.39x and 2.60x |
| TitanX’s own claimed lift in conversations a day | 10 ÷ 3 and 20 ÷ 2 | 3.3x to 10.0x |
The 2.9x test is our name for the break-even. A TitanX seat costs 2.88 times a PhoneBurner Professional seat on annual billing. So to cost the same per conversation, each TitanX rep must hold about 2.9 times as many conversations as the same rep would on PhoneBurner. TitanX’s own claim, 10–20+ conversations a day against 2–3, clears that bar. But its baseline is a team before TitanX, not a team already on PhoneBurner. At the same number of dials, a PhoneBurner team at a 10% answer rate needs TitanX to reach 2.88 × 10% = 28.8%, inside TitanX’s published 20–30%. A team at 20%, a level PhoneBurner says over a third of its customers exceed, would need 2.88 × 20% = 57.6%, well above it. ARMOR’s $5 a month per number, which Titan Defense includes, narrows the gap slightly; Connect Scores tier prices are unpublished.
The commitment check comes first. TitanX’s smallest order at list price is 3 × $475 × 12 = $17,100 a year. Three PhoneBurner Professional seats on annual billing cost 3 × $165 × 12 = $5,940, or you can buy one Standard seat month to month at $165. PhoneBurner’s average is across its whole customer base, and its solutions pages name financial, mortgage, insurance, political and solar callers; TitanX’s figures come from B2B sales teams on scored lists. Pilot your own list before trusting any row.
Which dialler for which team: the decision table
Read across on team size, list quality, mobile and direct-number data, and CRM.
| Team size | List quality | Mobile and direct-number data | CRM | Pick |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Any | Leads arrive faster than reps can call them, or follow-up stops after one attempt | Any | HubSpot, Salesforce, HighLevel, or Zapier/API | Zian; LeadsNow.ai if you want it run for you |
| 1 or 2 reps | Any | Any | Any, or none (built-in CRM) | PhoneBurner; TitanX’s 3-rep minimum rules it out |
| 3+ reps | Large cold B2B list where most numbers never answer | Mostly switchboard or HQ numbers, few mobiles | Salesforce or HubSpot | TitanX Precision Dialer: Phone Intent plus the number waterfall, if the 2.9x test passes on a pilot |
| 3+ reps | Warm, opted-in or already-cleaned lists | Already rich in verified mobile and direct numbers | Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Close or HighLevel | PhoneBurner, with Connect Scores to skip low-likelihood numbers |
| Any | Any | Any | Outreach is your system of action | PhoneBurner (its Outreach integration also needs a Salesforce account); TitanX says Outreach is “Not yet” |
| Any | Numbers outside the US and Canada | Any | Salesforce or HubSpot | TitanX, quoted per country; PhoneBurner dials the US and Canada only |
| Any | Any | Any | Any; budget below $475 a seat a month or no annual commitment | PhoneBurner, month to month from $165 a user |
Read the table by the binding constraint: a bad list points to TitanX’s scoring, seats and CRM reach point to PhoneBurner, and leads that nobody calls point to an agent, because a faster dialler does not add a caller.
Who each tool is wrong for
Zian is wrong for a team that wants every conversation held by a human rep and only needs faster dialling, and for a buyer who needs a published price today.
PhoneBurner is wrong for lists outside the US and Canada, for teams that need several lines per rep (its own pages disagree, so get it in writing), and for buyers who want scoring and spam remediation bundled into the seat price.
TitanX Precision Dialer is wrong for teams under three reps, for anyone who cannot commit to annual terms, for teams whose system of action is Outreach or Salesloft until those integrations ship, and for teams that want to keep their current dialler and still get Titan Defense. It is also a two-week-old product, so a pilot against your own baseline matters more than usual.
How we compared them
Methodology and defined terms. A dialling mode is how many numbers the software rings per rep at once: single-line is one; parallel is several, with the rep bridged to whoever answers. Answer rate (PhoneBurner) and connect rate (TitanX) both mean live conversations divided by dials, by each vendor’s own definition. A feature is stated only when the vendor’s own page names it in a sentence we can quote, read in context for “not yet”, “beta”, plan or country limits. A published price appears on the vendor’s own pricing page or help centre; PhoneBurner shows a dollar sign without a currency code; TitanX’s pricing-page structured data gives the currency as USD. We could not find means we fetched every URL in that vendor’s sitemaps on 28 October 2026 and searched in the vendor’s own vocabulary, with a positive control on the same files. That covered 385 phoneburner.com pages, 496 PhoneBurner help articles (read through the help centre’s API), 134 titanx.io pages, 80 TitanX help articles, 18 TitanX API pages and 261 legacy FrontSpin help articles, plus in-page links missing from the sitemaps. TitanX “Legacy” help articles are labelled where used. Zian is described only from its published capabilities. Ranking: Zian is first and LeadsNow.ai second as the done-for-you option; PhoneBurner and TitanX are not ranked against each other, because the right one depends on team size, list and CRM (see the decision table).
Disclosure. zian.ai publishes this page and sells Zian, which is ranked first here. LeadsNow.ai is a sister business that runs on Zian.
PhoneBurner vs Frontspin: frequently asked questions
Is Frontspin still available?
Not as a separate product. As at 28 October 2026, frontspin.com redirects to titanx.io. TitanX’s home page says it “bought FrontSpin in February 2026 and integrated it fully into the TitanX Precision Dialer platform”, and that “FrontSpin is no longer a separate product or company.” TitanX launched the Precision Dialer on 14 October 2026. FrontSpin’s old help centre is still online.
Is PhoneBurner or Frontspin better for SDRs?
PhoneBurner suits one or two reps, month-to-month buyers, lists rich in mobile numbers and CRMs beyond Salesforce and HubSpot, from $140 a user a month billed annually. TitanX’s Precision Dialer, the successor to Frontspin, suits three or more reps on cold B2B lists in Salesforce or HubSpot, from $475 a seat a month, paid annually. Its seat must deliver about 2.9 times the conversations of a PhoneBurner Professional seat to cost the same per conversation.
Does Frontspin or TitanX have a parallel dialler?
FrontSpin’s legacy help centre describes a Parallel Dialer that rang up to 5 lines at once. TitanX’s current Precision Dialer does not. Its product page says “We will never offer a parallel dialing mode or feature”. PhoneBurner’s FAQ also describes a single-line dialler, though its auto dialler page mentions several lines.
How much do PhoneBurner and TitanX cost?
As at 28 October 2026, PhoneBurner lists $140, $165 and $183 per user a month billed annually, or $165, $195 and $215 monthly, with no contract. TitanX lists the Precision Dialer from $475 per seat a month and Phone Intent alone from $375, both paid annually with a 3-rep minimum. PhoneBurner’s ARMOR spam protection adds $5 a month per number; TitanX includes Titan Defense in the seat.
Does TitanX work with Outreach or Salesloft?
Not yet. TitanX’s integrations page says it “has no live Salesloft or Outreach integration today”, and that both are coming. Salesforce and HubSpot are live. PhoneBurner lists an Outreach integration that also needs a Salesforce account.
Can PhoneBurner call UK or Australian numbers?
No. PhoneBurner’s FAQ says it “can only be used to dial numbers in the United States and Canada”, as at 28 October 2026. TitanX sells international seats and number packages, priced on a quote after it confirms coverage for your countries.
Can an AI agent replace the dialler for my SDR team?
For first attempts and follow-up, often yes. That is the job Zian’s AI agents do: they place outbound calls, follow up by SMS, email and WhatsApp, and book appointments. For complex discovery calls a human with a dialler still fits.
