JustCall vs Kixie: Which Sales Dialler to Pick - Zian AI

JustCall vs Kixie: Which Sales Dialler to Pick

Quick answer: JustCall publishes its prices; Kixie quotes per team. JustCall Pro, its first plan with a power dialler, is US$49 a user a month billed annually, with a 2-licence minimum. For 5 reps holding 500 connected conversations a month, that is US$0.53 per conversation in software cost, so a Kixie seat quote under US$47.74 costs less (our software-only break-even, not a Kixie price). As at 2 November 2026.

JustCall and Kixie both sell calling, texting, CRM logging and a power dialler to sales teams. JustCall sells an AI Communication Suite (Team, Pro, Pro Plus, Business) and a Sales Suite (SalesPro), plus an AI Voice Agent add-on. Kixie sells three plans (Professional, Single-Line PowerDialer, Multi-Line PowerDialer) plus add-ons such as ConnectionBoost, AI Human Voice Detection and Conversation Intelligence. This page compares them on what an outbound team pays for. Every vendor fact comes from JustCall’s and Kixie’s own pricing pages, help centres and release notes, read on 2 November 2026, in US dollars unless marked A$; neither vendor’s comparison page was used for the other’s facts.

Where Zian fits next to JustCall or Kixie

If the real problem is leads that never get a second call, or inbound calls that ring out after hours, choose the AI agent layer before you buy more dialler seats. Zian AI is an AI sales and reception agents platform: its agents answer inbound calls 24/7 as an AI receptionist that qualifies callers, books appointments, transfers calls and takes messages, and they run outbound follow-up by voice, SMS, email, WhatsApp, Instagram DMs and Facebook Messenger.

A dialler makes each rep faster at calling; Zian’s agents make the calls and the follow-ups themselves, handle answering machines and voicemail, work in 30+ languages, and connect to HubSpot, Salesforce, HighLevel, Zapier and an API. Zian’s home page reports 28x more contact attempts, a 2,736% increase in lead contact rates and AI that books 40+ meetings/week for many teams.

Both vendors here also sell AI that works calls: JustCall’s AI Voice Agent, a per-minute add-on, and Kixie’s Follow-Up AI Agent, in beta, which calls contacts back after a rep’s chosen disposition. Zian’s agents cover inbound answering and outbound follow-up across every channel above.

The honest limit: Zian is in a partnership-application beta with no published prices; each of its three listed plans, including Intel + Widgets (Free Forever), starts with a partnership application. If you would rather have outbound appointment setting run for you, LeadsNow.ai is the done-for-you option: a managed, pay-per-result AI appointment-setting service that runs on Zian, answers leads in under 60 seconds, 24/7, and has set 50,769+ appointments.

How to choose between JustCall and Kixie: five questions

Answer these in order; the first hard answer decides.

  1. Do you need a price before a sales call? JustCall prints seat prices; Kixie prints plan contents and usage rates only.
  2. How many lines should each rep dial at once? One line suits long calls; several suit big cold lists.
  3. How much do you depend on local caller ID? Kixie builds ConnectionBoost around number rotation; JustCall sells local number bundles.
  4. What should AI do, and on what meter? JustCall prices its voice agent per minute; Kixie publishes no price for its AI add-ons.
  5. How do you leave? Neither refunds a normal subscription charge; the terms differ below.

Four places where a vendor’s own pages disagree, so we print both. Kixie’s pricing page says its Multi-Line plan can “PowerDial up to 4 lines simultaneously”, while its PowerLists help article lists “PowerDialer 10: ability to dial up to 10 numbers at a time” as an add-on on the Professional plan. Kixie’s Facts page says “Do not state a Kixie price. None is published”, yet FAQ data embedded in its pricing page (not shown on the visible page) says “We offer unlimited minutes plans for the US and Canada for $30/mo. per user.” JustCall’s plan comparison shows Salesforce integration from Pro, while its Salesforce page says “Every plan includes Salesforce integration.” JustCall’s AI Voice Agent page says Team includes “AI transcription and call summaries”, while its plan comparison lists call summary as an add-on on Team and Pro. Ask each vendor which applies to your quote.

One limb matters more than price for an outbound team. JustCall’s pricing guide says its unlimited calling “can’t be used for trunking, for forwarding calls to systems that handle multiple calls at once (such as a PBX), or for large-scale calling such as call centers or telemarketing”, and rounds every call up to at least one minute. Kixie’s unlimited plan deducts only calls costing more than US$0.02 a minute (standard US calls are US$0.018). At call-centre volume, get the allowance in writing.

For Australian teams, JustCall lists Pro at A$75 a user a month billed annually (A$105 monthly). Kixie’s Facts page says its per-seat prices are not published; it prices calls to Australian landlines from US$0.033 a minute and mobiles from US$0.098, and lists Australia among its ConnectionBoost countries.

Which dials more lines per rep, JustCall or Kixie?

On published plans, JustCall’s ceiling is higher: a “Predictive dialer (up to 10 lines)” on SalesPro, and its parallel dialler page says “Up to ten numbers ring at once”. Kixie’s pricing page caps Multi-Line at 4 lines, though its help centre describes a 10-number tier and says AI Human Detect “dynamically adjusts” how many numbers it dials.

Below the top plans, JustCall gates multi-line dialling by campaign count: its Sales Dialer article says Pro, Pro Plus and Business can run predictive and dynamic campaigns only from the 3 of each a trial grants, and says “Upgrade to SalesPro for unlimited Predictive and Dynamic Dialer campaigns.” Kixie sells the line count as the plan itself.

More lines are not automatically better. JustCall’s predictive dialler page advises “Start slow: set 2–3 lines per agent” and throttling as abandonment nears a 3% ceiling. If your reps hold long discovery calls, extra lines add little; our PhoneBurner vs Nooks comparison of power and parallel dialling works through when extra lines stop paying.

What a connected conversation costs on JustCall and Kixie: the worked calculation

Seat price is the wrong unit for a dialler; divide the monthly bill by the conversations it produces. The inputs are our planning assumptions, not vendor figures. Five reps dial for 20 selling days a month at 100 dials a day each on a one-line dialler: 10,000 dials, and at a 5% connect rate, 500 connected conversations. Each rep has one direct number, and the team sends one one-to-one follow-up text per conversation.

Line, one-line dialling, 5 reps Calculation Per month Per conversation (500)
JustCall Pro, billed annually 5 × US$49 US$245.00 —
JustCall extra numbers, annual plan 4 × US$4.80 (one number covered by the complimentary Sales Dialer number) US$19.20 —
JustCall calls and texts Inside Pro’s US and Canada allowance (Fair Usage Policy applies) US$0 —
JustCall Pro, annual: total US$245 + US$19.20 US$264.20 US$0.53
JustCall Pro, monthly: total 5 × US$69 + 4 × US$6 US$369.00 US$0.74
Kixie extra numbers 4 × US$5 (first number free) US$20.00 —
Kixie follow-up texts 500 × US$0.011 US$5.50 —
Kixie calls Inside “Unlimited Minutes” for US and Canada US$0 —
Kixie published costs before seats US$20 + US$5.50 US$25.50 US$0.05
Kixie Single-Line PowerDialer seats 5 × your quoted seat price Quoted Quoted

JustCall Pro billed annually is US$264.20 ÷ 500 = US$0.53 per connected conversation; billed monthly, US$369 ÷ 500 = US$0.74. Kixie’s published costs are US$25.50 before seats, so its seat quote decides.

Now multi-line. Suppose it lifts each rep to 250 dials a day (our illustration, not a vendor claim): 1,250 conversations a month at 5%. JustCall’s help centre describes SalesPro Lite as part of a migration of legacy dialler customers to standardised plans, and it is not on the pricing page, so ask whether it is offered to a new account; the SalesPro Lite figures below hold only if it is. JustCall SalesPro Lite is 5 × US$79 + US$19.20 = US$414.20 a month annually, or US$0.33 per conversation, and 5 × US$99 + US$24 = US$519 monthly, or US$0.42. Kixie’s published costs rise to US$20 + 1,250 × US$0.011 = US$33.75 before seats.

One limb cuts against the Lite figure: it includes 3,000 minutes per user, and JustCall charges usage beyond that “at standard calling rates”. If every dial bills at least a minute and conversations run 4 minutes, this example uses about 5,750 minutes per rep, so the real bill is higher by a rate that article does not print. Full SalesPro lists unlimited outbound calling but is quoted.

The Break-Even Seat Price: how to read a Kixie quote

The Break-Even Seat Price is the Kixie seat quote at which Kixie and JustCall cost the same per connected conversation, counting software costs only. It is our calculation against JustCall’s list prices, not a price Kixie publishes, and it leaves out rep time, which is the same on both sides when both produce the same conversations. With the same conversation count on both sides, it is (JustCall’s monthly total − Kixie’s published costs) ÷ reps. Under it, Kixie is cheaper per conversation; over it, JustCall is.

Your Kixie quote is for Compare it with Calculation Break-Even Seat Price, per user a month
Single-Line PowerDialer, 5 reps, 500 conversations JustCall Pro, annual (US$264.20 − US$25.50) ÷ 5 US$47.74
Single-Line PowerDialer, 5 reps, 500 conversations JustCall Pro, monthly (US$369.00 − US$25.50) ÷ 5 US$68.70
Multi-Line PowerDialer, 5 reps, 1,250 conversations JustCall SalesPro Lite, annual (US$414.20 − US$33.75) ÷ 5 At least US$76.09
Multi-Line PowerDialer, 5 reps, 1,250 conversations JustCall SalesPro Lite, monthly (US$519.00 − US$33.75) ÷ 5 At least US$97.05

The multi-line rows say “at least” because JustCall’s minute overage would only raise its side, and they apply only if JustCall offers SalesPro Lite to your new account; its help centre describes the plan as part of a legacy-plan migration, and otherwise the comparison is with a SalesPro quote. The connect rate barely moves the break-even (US$48.18 at 3%, US$47.08 at 8%, against JustCall Pro annual) but moves cost per conversation a lot: US$0.88 at 3%, US$0.33 at 8%. Add per-seat add-ons to each side before comparing, such as ConnectionBoost on Kixie or AI Review Assist (US$9 a user a month) on JustCall Pro.

Local presence, caller ID and texting on JustCall and Kixie

Kixie’s ConnectionBoost add-on rotates outbound caller ID through “a nationwide pool of 50,000+ local numbers”, suppresses low-performing numbers and routes call-backs to the rep who last called; Kixie says it cycles through “over 50 local numbers” per area code. It is an add-on for Professional-tier users, priced by sales, though Kixie’s Taking ConnectionBoost to the Next Level help article (updated 25 June 2026) prices its Number Health Reputation Manager at US$50 a month per ConnectionBoost user plus US$1 a month per number; standard local presence with numbers you own is on the Professional tier.

JustCall puts a local presence setting on Pro and above and sells local number bundles as an add-on, with “free swaps for underperforming numbers once a month”; SalesPro adds Number Health. It offers local numbers in 70+ countries.

Both handle SMS and MMS. JustCall Pro includes 1,000 SMS segments a licence for one-to-one US and Canada texts; workflow, bulk, CRM-automation and bot texts, and all MMS, are billed from credits. Kixie charges US$0.011 a text to US and Canadian numbers, keeps inbound texts free, and sends MMS of up to 10 files and 4.6MB. US texting on both needs A2P 10DLC registration; see how long A2P 10DLC registration takes.

AI on JustCall and Kixie: what is included and what costs extra

JustCall puts more AI on its price list. Its AI Voice Agent add-on costs US$0.99 a minute pay-as-you-go, or 100 minutes for US$99 and 300 for US$249 a month, with “Volume discounts down to $0.15/min”; its help centre says to “connect with Sales/Account Manager team for tailored price”. It speaks 14 languages and places outbound calls once support or a Customer Success Manager enables that. Free trial minutes are 100 on the pricing page and help centre, 30 in one product-page FAQ. Pro Plus (US$89) adds AI call scoring and real-time agent assist.

Kixie says “All Kixie plans include the AI Dashboard”, which scores analysed calls against a Playbook, answers questions in plain words and writes a CRM note after each call; the article does not say whether analysis needs the Conversation Intelligence add-on, so ask. Conversation Intelligence and AI Human Voice Detection are premium add-ons. Its Follow-Up AI Agent, in beta and “not available on all accounts”, fires on a disposition you choose, says it is an AI assistant, offers an opt-out and books a time with your rep once a manager records a consent attestation. None of these has a published price.

We could not find an inbound AI receptionist product on Kixie’s pricing page, Facts for AI Systems page, sitemap or help-centre search, as at 2 November 2026, although its AI Dashboard introduction lists Twilio, Plivo, Telnyx and Vonage integrations “so the assistant can handle outbound and inbound calls, SMS, IVR flows and call queues”. For the wider trade-off, see our explainer on AI phone agents versus predictive diallers.

Who each option is wrong for

Zian is wrong for a team that only wants cheaper dialler seats with no AI handling, and for a buyer who needs a published price today.

JustCall is wrong for a single user (2-licence minimum), for Team-plan users who need a power dialler (it starts at Pro), and for anyone counting on “unlimited” calling at call-centre or telemarketing scale, which its Fair Usage Policy excludes. Unlimited predictive campaigns need SalesPro (quoted) or SalesPro Lite (US$79 annual, minutes metered above 3,000 per user, and described by JustCall as part of a legacy-plan migration, so ask whether a new account can buy it).

Kixie is wrong for buyers who must compare published seat prices before a sales call, and for teams wanting more than 4 lines per rep without asking which tier applies. Its trial runs 7 days on the Chrome dialler, it does not refund a charge once taken, cancelling needs an email plus an exit survey, and contract accounts can only remove licences in the last 30 days.

What changed on JustCall and Kixie in the last 90 days

JustCall’s What’s New feed lists nine updates from 10 August to 26 October 2026, including missed call analytics (12 August), SMS and MMS follow-up workflows (31 August), RCS messaging through its APIs (18 September) and WhatsApp messages from HubSpot workflows (24 September). None changes a price or plan used here.

Kixie has no changelog among the 1,224 URLs in its sitemap, and its latest help-centre product-update article is dated 13 February 2025. New help-centre articles since August 2026 cover the AI Dashboard and Follow-Up AI Agent (31 August to 29 September), Business Identity and Voice Integrity (4 September) and cancellation (9 October).

How we compared JustCall and Kixie

Methodology and defined terms. A feature counts as on a plan only when the vendor’s own pricing page, plan comparison or help article places it there, read for “beta”, “add-on” and plan or region limits; where a vendor’s pages disagree, we print both. “We could not find” means we searched in the vendor’s vocabulary with a positive control. On 2 November 2026 that covered JustCall’s pricing page and data, eight product and integration pages, 10 help-centre articles and its What’s New entries since 4 August 2026; and Kixie’s pricing, per-minute, Facts, feature and integration pages, full sitemap (1,224 URLs) and 28 help-centre articles. Zian is described only from its published capabilities. Ranking: Zian first, LeadsNow.ai second as the done-for-you option; JustCall and Kixie are not ranked against each other.

Disclosure. zian.ai publishes this page and sells Zian, which is ranked first here. LeadsNow.ai is a sister business that runs on Zian.

JustCall vs Kixie: frequently asked questions

Is JustCall or Kixie better for outbound sales?

It depends on whether you need a price up front and how many lines each rep dials. JustCall Pro, its first plan with a power dialler, is US$49 a user a month billed annually, with a 2-licence minimum. Kixie quotes per team and sells single-line and multi-line PowerDialer plans. For 5 reps at 500 conversations a month, a Kixie quote under US$47.74 a seat beats JustCall Pro annual on software cost alone; that figure is our break-even, not a Kixie price. As at 2 November 2026.

How much does Kixie cost?

Kixie does not publish seat prices. Its Facts for AI Systems page says “per-seat prices are not published and are quoted per team”. Its pricing page does publish usage prices: texts to US and Canadian numbers at US$0.011 each and extra US and Canadian numbers at US$5 a month, and its help centre describes a US$50 prepaid reserve balance for calls and texts. The same pricing page’s embedded FAQ data also says “$30/mo. per user” for unlimited US and Canada minutes. As at 2 November 2026.

How much does JustCall cost?

JustCall Team is US$29, Pro US$49 and Pro Plus US$89 per user a month billed annually, or US$39, US$69 and US$109 monthly, with a minimum of 2 licences. Business and SalesPro are quoted. SalesPro Lite is US$79 annual or US$99 monthly per user in its help centre, which describes it as part of a legacy-plan migration, so ask whether it is offered to a new account. As at 2 November 2026.

Which has a multi-line dialler, JustCall or Kixie?

Both do, on different plans. Kixie’s Multi-Line PowerDialer plan dials “up to 4 lines simultaneously” on its pricing page, while its PowerLists help article lists PowerDialer 10 and AI Human Detect at up to 10 numbers at a time. JustCall’s predictive dialler, “up to 10 lines”, is on SalesPro; its Pro plan has a one-line power dialler.

Do JustCall and Kixie have local presence?

Yes. JustCall’s plan comparison puts its local presence setting on Pro and above, with local number bundles as an add-on. Kixie’s help centre says AI Local Presence is on its Professional tier, without the numbers, and its ConnectionBoost add-on rotates through a pool of 50,000+ local numbers, priced by its sales team.

Does JustCall or Kixie have an AI voice agent?

JustCall sells an AI Voice Agent add-on on every plan at US$0.99 a minute pay-as-you-go, or 100 minutes for US$99 and 300 minutes for US$249 a month, for inbound and outbound calls. Kixie’s Follow-Up AI Agent, in beta and not on all accounts, calls a contact back after a rep’s chosen disposition and books a time with the rep; Kixie does not publish its price.

Do JustCall and Kixie offer a free trial?

Yes. JustCall’s pricing page offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. Kixie offers a 7-day free trial with no credit card required, and its help centre says you must use the Kixie dialler for Google Chrome during the trial.

Can I get a refund from JustCall or Kixie?

Rarely. JustCall refunds only a duplicate payment or a charge made by mistake after cancellation. Kixie’s billing article says it does not refund subscription costs once they have been charged, and Kixie contract accounts can only downgrade or remove licences in the last 30 days of the term.
